How many Catholics are there in Nagasaki?

In the period from April 2016 to March 2017, the number of believers in the Catholic Archdiocese of Nagasaki was 60,989, the second largest number after that in the Catholic Archdiocese of Tokyo, 94,977. However, Nagasaki topped other dioceses in Japan in the percentage of Catholics among the total population at 4.408%, by a huge margin compared to 0.492% in Tokyo.
